Biography

Susan (Lee) was an accomplished scientist, humanist and friend taken from us way too early
In her short life of 28 years, Susan Lee Campbell, impacted the world and the people who knew her in ways that are hard to put into words.
Her devotion to scientific learning, knowledge, and mastery while at the same time to giving and loving, was unmatched.
Tragically killed while a passenger aboard the fateful flight of Korean Air Flight 007, on September 1, 1983, Susan will never be forgotten by those who knew her, loved her, and were lucky enough to call her a friend, classmate, sister, daughter, teacher, student, co-worker.
